Halloween’s headed our way. Time for tricks and treats.
Today though we’re dealing solely with the latter.
Limited edition Root Beer is making its return after a lengthy hiatus, while the perennial favorite Pumpkin 5-Spice is back once again to usher in autumn as only it can.
Root Beer has hints of caramel and vanilla. It tastes like the sweet, creamy, frothy foam atop a frosty mug of ice-cold root beer. The root beer concentrate we’re blending with Snowville’s grass-grazed cream is 100% free of artificial ingredients. (The ice cream’s light brown caramel-y color is imparted not by a dye but by burnt sugar.) A scoop of Root Beer is delicious by itself and even more so in a Reverse Root Beer Float, which we’re making this month in our shops.
As for Pumpkin 5-Spice, it’s a blend of rich and creamy pumpkin from Hirsch Fruit Farm in Chillicothe, Ohio, and sweet Snowville cream that we lace with ginger, cloves, light brown sugar, and Saigon cinnamon. The finish is slightly tingly thanks to Chinese 5-spice powder.
Here’s a lovely spoonful:

Catch them while you can.
Happy fall, everyone.
