We had a great time scooping this past weekend during the MidPoint Music Fest. As usual, the event was jammed with killer musicians and fantastic food and drink. And we also really dug the ArtWorks Box Truck Carnival, which included the Short Order Poetry truck.

Here’s how it worked: poem seekers paced “orders” by submitting to an interview with one of the poetry writers in the truck. Twenty minutes later, the writer presented the poem.

Above is one such poem, a lover’s ode to Brown Butter Almond Brittle¬†given anonymously to our Street Treats Truck crew. If you inspired this poem or wrote it, please let us know who you are. We’d like to meet meet you both.

Keep up the great work, MidPoint Music Fest and Short Order Poetry.
