How It Works

We ship all packages FedEx.

No ice cream will be in transit for more than 48 hours.

Ice cream is not shipped or delivered on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays recognized by FedEx.

Ice cream is not delivered on Mondays.

Some orders placed after 2 PM (EST) on Wednesdays may be subject to ship the following Monday.  Please refer to the Regular Shipping Schedule found in the box on the right.  

You will receive a notification email with your FedEx tracking number when your order ships.

We cannot ship to PO boxes.

We cannot intercept and redirect packages once they have shipped.

Shipping Methods

FedEx Ground Home Delivery shipments will arrive within 1-2 days from the date in which they are shipped* depending on the destination. Delivery will occur by end of business day.

FedEx 2 Day shipments will arrive (2) two days from the date in which they are shipped.* Delivery will occur by 4:30 PM.

FedEx Standard Overnight shipments will arrive the day after they are shipped* by 3:00 PM.

FedEx Priority Overnight shipments will arrive the day after they are shipped* by 10:30 AM.

*Not all orders are shipped the day they are placed.

Shipping on Dry Ice

We pack ice cream in a well-insulated shipping box topped with dry ice. It gets colder inside that box than it does in your freezer: -109.3°F. 

Even though we always include enough dry ice in the box to keep the ice cream frozen well into the evening of the delivery date, we encourage you to place the ice cream in a freezer immediately upon arrival.

The recipient should exercise caution and avoid direct skin contact when handling dry ice.

Surprise Gifts of Jeni's

Please contact the recipient to make sure they are going to be home the day their ice creams arrives.

The box must be opened by the end of the delivery day and placed in a freezer immediately.

Remember to include your name in the handwritten message so the recipient knows who to thank!

We do not include receipts, pricing information, or details of payment in shipments.

Memorial Day Shipping Schedule

Orders placed after 2 PM (EST) on Wednesday, May 22, may not ship until Wednesday, May 29, dependent on destination and shipping method.

Orders placed by 2 PM (EST) on Thursday, May 23, must choose one-day FedEx Ground Home Delivery (where eligible), FedEx Priority Overnight, or FedEx Standard Overnight methods for delivery on Friday, May 24. This will be the last chance to receive ice cream before Memorial Day.

All orders placed after 2 PM (EST) on Thursday, May 23, will ship on Wednesday, May 29.

No orders will be shipped or delivered on Monday, May 27, or Tuesday, May 28.

The regular shipping schedule will resume on Wednesday, May 29.

Regular Shipping Schedule

Orders placed before 2 PM (EST) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will ship the same day.

Orders placed after 2 PM (EST) on Wednesdays may not ship until the following Monday, dependent on destination and shipping method.

One-day FedEx Ground Home Delivery (where eligible), FedEx Priority Overnight, and FedEx Standard Overnight methods selected by 2 PM (EST) Thursday will ship for Friday delivery.

All orders placed after 2 PM (EST) on Thursday will ship the following Monday.
